This compilation 7" represents a time and place. You all know the stories about New Brunwsick...the great bands and the great parties...The Bouncing Souls, Lifetime, and Sticks & Stones. Years later bands like Midtown, Thursday, and Saves The Day would claim The Hub City as their city of origin. Well somewhere in between all of that The Degenerics, Stormshadow, Heidnik Stew, Fanshen, Try.Fail.Try., and Worthless were the glue that held the New Brunswick scene together by playing local basements and halls, by releasing records independently, and promoting a healthy and vibrant scene though co-operation and unity. This compilation sought to further these notions and encouraged the Do It Yourself spirit. Pick up this politically charged hardcore punk 7" featuring some of the best New Brunswick bands that never quite made it out of the basement.
