Don't get me wrong... I'm a Packers fan and totally love American-
style football (miss you Brett, sigh...) BUT real football (soccer to
us 'mercans) fans have something on us: quality merchandise.
Seriously, who looks cool in a big jersey that's all polyester and
with funny holes in it? Lord knows i look like an idiot riding my
bike down the street with my cheesehead on. And why are all of the
color combinations so bad? In any case, the jerseys for the real
football are way more reasonable as a garment... but what's really
cool is SUPPORTER SCARVES. They are rad AND they keep your neck warm
during the brutal European weather situations. And since the Souls'
soccer team is undefeated (okay, we only played one game but we did
beat Argentinians!!!!) and since we're hooligans of a sort... we made
toasty and fabulous football scarves.
So, if you can't be an athlete...be an athletic supporter!!!!!
