Hello! Any body still out there? Well, after a string of the exciting return of Sticks and Stones in 2006-2007, things have definitely slowed down. At the end of 2009, Psychic Volt reissued the "World To Be Saved" 7" to commemorate the 20 year anniversary of the debut 7". Now, Chunksaah Records and Gunner Records are co-releasing "Ninteen Eighty Seven", the original Sticks and Stones Demo as a one sided 12" with etched b side! Wow! Long time since an update. Shame on me. Unfortunately all that has been missed since the last update were a few shows around the winter holidays with the Bouncing Souls and Weston and an acoustic appearance last summer at CBGB's. You can view some of those highlights at YouTube. Fortunately Sticks & Stones will be making another appearance in a few weeks at Chunksaah Records Punk Nite Takeover at the Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ. "Bridgewater Represent", as the night has been dubbed, will feature Sticks & Stones along with The Bamboo Kids and The Surefires with DJ Lamar Vannoy spinning the records between sets. Tickets and info are available online at www.chunksaah.com/asburypunk.

In related news, The World/Inferno Friendship Society will be releasing another record on Chunksaah this September called "Addicted To Bad Ideas". The Inferno will be performing "Fiend in Wien: Peter Lorre's Twentieth Century", a punk rock song cycle, this September and will follow it with a U.S. tour with The Subhumans. And cartoonist, Michael Cavallaro (aka Johnny X), has been busy creating "Parade (With Fireworks)", which focuses on the personal side of an Italy torn apart after the first World War. You can check it out at ACT-I-VATE.

In other news, Mike Cavallero will be having a 66 Thousand Miles Per Hour #3 Comic Book Release Party at CBGB's Gallery (313 Bowery, NYC) on Wednesday, May 17th at 7:30. It's all ages (16+ with valid ID). $3 cover includes a FREE copy of 66KMPH #3. Welcome to www.InnerRevolt.com...the new STICKS & STONES web site. Is it the "official" site? Yup...pretty much. Is it a fan site? Well, sorta. Confused? Check out the "about" section of this site for more info. Regardless, this is the site for all things STICKS & STONES and for the first time in many many years, there's actually a few things to talk about.

First and foremost is their first NJ appearance in over a decade. The Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ will be hosting STICKS & STONES along with THE RACHETS and THE MEASURE (SA) for an all ages show on April 22. In June the band will be opening for THE BOUNCING SOULS at the Knitting Factory in NYC. In related news, Mike Cavallaro's (aka Johnny X) new issue of 66 Thousand Miles Per Hour is hitting the streets this May and the World/Inferno Friendship Society are working on finishing up a new record as well.

And to celebrate the launch of this site we've got some previously unreleased MP3's available in the "download" section. From time to time we will try to swap these tracks out with other tracks from the vaults but for now we have an alternate studio version of "Saved" and also "The Song For Nothing II" which was recorded live at WFMU.

A huge thanks to Nikki and her Unofficial Sticks & Stones Database. Please visit her site for even more info. And thanks to Chunksaah Records for providing the hosting for InnerRevolt.com.
