What do Minneapolis, MN and New Brunswick, NJ have in common? Probably very little...until now! This split release brings together two up and coming poppy punk bands - both sharing a commitment to the DIY scene, getting drunk, self-destruction, and catchy tunes.

OFF WITH THEIR HEADS are Justin and Ryan, and a revolving door that has included Paddy Costello (Dillinger Four), Davey Quinn (Tiltwheel), Josh Jordan (Kosher), as well as ten other past and present members in the bands short career. They are generally known for writing songs of struggle, depression, and anger in unlikely poppy styles and for being honest and calling people on their shit. However, on this release, OWTH offer up a rare glimpse of positivity. Of this newfound positivity, vocalist Ryan says, "Writing songs is about being honest with yourself. If we wrote songs about being pissed or depressed when we aren't in our lives, you would be able to smell that a mile away."

Strictly Analog, Somewhat Attractive, Seldom Appropriate, THE MEASURE [SA] have a peculiar habit of worming their way into your subconscious with sublimely-catchy pop hooks, start-stop dynamics and nods toward western sprawl and early 90's indie rock. A gritty punk rock heart keeps the tempo fast and loose though, pumping red-hot blood through the record and directly into the pit of your stomach. Still, it's the sincerity and creativity of The Measure [SA] which really grabs your attention and wins you over.
