Woohoo! We've spent our 20th Anniversary touring the world, we're all back in one piece. Time now to gather with our friends and family and celebrate being HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS once again!!! The Jersey tradition continues with 4 nights at the Pony, and 4 nights means 4 TOTALLY different sets! This has always been a challenge for us, at this point we have OVER 125 songs recorded, WHAT TO PLAY? And how can we make it special yet again for these very special shows? It boggles the mind. We do it night after night, sometimes it takes hours and no matter what we choose, we're always missing lots of songs. You can only play so much in a night before everyone's ears are burned and attention spans are done. We figure about 20 songs is an ideal length of time, so... WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HEAR??

Time for a SET-LIST writing contest. Write up your ideal set-list. Make it flow, make it rock the house! We need a different set-list for each of the 4 different HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS shows. You submit 'em, we'll pick 4 winners.

A few words about set-list writing...
Crafting the perfect set is an eternal challenge, and it's nothing short of creating art. There should be a flow, for example songs with like tempos/themes/feels may work well grouped together. However, maybe after a few like songs, it's good to change it up again. Balance the slow and the fast overall, keep the show exciting, but take a breath here and there. Picking which songs is quite tough in our case, we always want to play the "favorites" that more the crowd, but then it's really fun to pull out the oddball rarities and deep cuts for the Jersey family. Draw lines in the set where we can stop stop between songs. Make about 20 songs more or less. If we end up going back up for an encore, we'll come up with something on the fly each night.
