THE PLUNGERS

After the breakup of The Stallions (Intensive Scare) in the late 1990’s Japanese transplants Akiko Plunger (bass) and Masayo Plunger (guitar) formed NYC based The Plungers with drummer John Dolan (Choking Victim, Sea Monkeys, Wig Hat). After getting pregnant with twins in 2002 original bassist Akiko was replaced by Jen Klein. In 2001 John Dolan was replaced by Al Batross (Ludichrist & MDC) In 2004 Al Batross was replaced by Kris Plunger (Dirt Cheap, Wig Hat, The Spitoons).
