LET IT BURN

Let It Burn were a band that could not be classified as simply just a punk band, as there were so many more elements to their music. The band has been described as a perfect cross between 7 Seconds and AC/DC, a comparison that the band itself said couldn't be more true. Each member of Let It Burn brought a distinct and different element to the band and that's what made them so unique.

Formed in 2000 by ex-Full Speed Ahead members DJ Values (guitar), Pete Pedersen (drums) and Will Suicide (bass), Let It Burn began to take shape after long time friend Chris Gonzalez was added on guitar and after a lack of available singers DJ moved to vocals. Right from the start the band took things into their own hands releasing there first record, "This Is Tthe Sound" themselves in May of 2001. Soon they began to hit the road playing every place they could from major cities to small Midwestern farm towns, again doing it all on their own. February of 2002 saw the release of the bands first official full length entitled "Here's to Goodbyes" on Coalition Records. More and more shows and (USA and European) tours began to see the band's popularity grow. Their live show became one that was not to be missed and people started to see the uniqueness of the band. December of 2002 saw the line up of the band take a few unexpected changes when original members Will and Chris both left the band. During the next few months of "hiatus" the band still managed to record a split EP for Doghouse Records, despite being short members. What looked like the end of Let It Burn turned out to be the rebirth. As new members Casey Chaos and Timmy Orbit joined DJ and Pete to make Let It Burn the band it should have always been.

Let It Burn always set out try to do something a little different. From their music to their live show, they were always anything but ordinary or predictable. The time is now for you to become aquatinted with the band that did everything that you always want to do, but were afraid to try.
